Sibs

hm....My brother just found out I had a blog, and when I told him the name of it, his response was, "Ha! You don't have any interesting thoughts!" Yup. He loves me. But that's the way we show our love. And I'm very sorry, but this is all I have time to say right now...I have work, and  snail mail to get out by morning, and the night is getting away from me.

People

Do you have that one person you see every day on your way to work? I do.
We drive passed each other every morning. I know it's the same person because it's a red car (don't ask me what kind of car as I do not know hardly what mine is) with bumper stickers on the back bumper. I always look in my rear view mirror just to make sure.
I don't who she is or where she is going, but every day I pretend a new life for her. One day she's a postal worker, delivering my mail. Another, she's a secretary for a dentist, or cashier at Meijer.
I sometimes wonder if she ever notices me, and realizes we pass each other every day and imagines the same things I do. I wonder if we ever met would we be fast friends or hateful enemies? Maybe one of these days I will tape a big piece of paper to my car saying, "Have a great day!" just to make her day, and let her know that no matter how her life is at the moment whether good or bad, someone out there cares. I know, I know I have such a weird imagination...and at times a little creepy..but think about it for a minute. It doesn't have to be someone you pass on the road every day, it could be the cashier at the grocery store or the barista at the coffee shop you see each morning. You don't have to be creepy about it, but make their day. Let them know that there are people who notice them and appreciate what they do.

Fall

Ahhhh....Summer is sadly drawing to a close. No more sunsets at 10pm, or spontaneous trips to the beach, tank tops and shorts, sunburns that you hope will eventually turn you tan, and no more 50 cent ice cream cones. But as Summer leaves us, Fall soon takes it's place. And even though we complain and whine that we couldn't do all the summer activities we had plenty of time for, (but stayed inside our air-conditioned houses and watched Netflix instead) we soon forget our complaints when we see that first tree turn color. You know what I'm talking about. That one single tree you pass every day, whether you're going to work, school, store, ect. You pass it, and you notice that one limb has leaves a light orange yellowish shade, but you go on with your daily life and think no more of it...until the next time you got by and somehow within a day it's changed an even darker orange yellowish! Pretty soon, that whole tree is wearing a bright red, leafy dress, and then you're suddenly no longer in the mood for a 50 cent cone at McDonald's. Nay sir, bring on the hot spiced cider from Biggby!!

May I Walk Out Of Your Dreams and Into Your Arms

Ah..my second post! Not that it is such a big deal..but this is rather fun! I like typing on a computer keyboard again. It's been at LEAST a year since I was regularly typing on a computer keyboard...I rather miss it. I remember staying up waaaay past my bedtime of 11pm, (hey ya gotta get that beauty sleep) using MSN to chat with my favoritest cousin and friend.
We would have the most random of conversations too. It would start with "I practiced piano today"  and end up being "Grandma fed crackers to the chairs again". We would go for hours, and wouldn't stop until finally our eyelids would get droopy and we had said goodnight 50 different times. But we were never really done until my cousin would tell me, "May I walk out of your dreams and into your arms". Corny, I know, but that is what would finish our late night, random conversation until the next time when we'd start all over again.
We don't really meet with each other online at night very often anymore, but when we do, we always finish with that line and it makes me smile.

There's Always A First For Everything...

Well, here it is...my first blog post. Not that it's anything special..just another random stranger typing their thoughts and opinions into air for some other random stranger to maybe find and read. Unfortunately (or fortunately) this is all I have time for to write. My mother desires I take care of the sink that I have been putting off having to clean for the past two weeks, and even though I'm a 20 year old adult, she will not hesitate to ground me with no tv privileges until it is finished!
